Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 10 foot long rubber insert trim for RVs, boats, and utility vehicle trim molding. Now, this part here will replace broken or worn out trim molding with this nice durable longer lasting upgrade. Basically this insert will replace your trim molding that's found on RVs, boats, and utility vehicles, and this will work like a bumper to help protect your ride from any impact, scuffs, or the elements. I want to zoom in even further, just to show you what a cutaway of this looks like. There's your trim molding.
It is an EPDM dense rubber construction so it won't shrink, crack, or fade over time. And it is resistant to UV damage. It is a very easy installation. It'll snap into five eighths inch size track or molding. And this is, this will weatherproof the screw tracks to prevent deterioration.
Now they do recommend a tucking tool to ease the installation. We do sell that separately on our website. And if you do need to trim the length of this, you can use scissors to trim the extra seal. A few dimensions on this. Total length of this part is 10 feet.
The height of this, so from here to here, is gonna be seven eighths of an inch and the width is about three eighths of an inch wide. Now this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the 10 foot long rubber insert trim for RVs, boats, and utility vehicle trim molding..

When the original vinyl trim came off my RPod, I had it replaced multiple times because it kept falling off. Read about this rubber trim on an RPod website and it has been great!!!! Have had it over a year with endcaps. Would not bother with the vinyl.....

Rubber trim was by far better than the boat lower windshield trim used by boat company. Highly recommend as a replacement.
Install was easy. But after 1 yr trim has shrunk by an inch and a half and pulled away from end.
Product installed easily enough, given it was a fairly hot morning (90s) so the rubber was pliable. It is a pretty straightforward remove/replace. No real expertise involved. I think it would have been a challenge on a colder day. It doesn't exactly match the trim on the other side, but close enough for it's purpose.
